Lebanese Caretaker Foreign Minister, Adnan Mansour, discussed means of finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria through holding an international conference in Geneva.
The discussion was held during his separate meetings with Bulgarian Foreign Minister, Kristian Vigenin, Georgian Foreign Minister, Maia Panjikidze, Finland Minister of International Cooperation, British Deputy Foreign Minister Alistair Burt and Tunisian Foreign Minister, Othman Jarandi.
The Lebanese National News Agency stressed that the meetings, which were held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings in New York, were concentrated on the repercussions of the crisis in Syrian on the whole region and Europe.
The participants in the meetings stressed the necessity of solving the crisis in Syria through dialogue and the political solution to avoid further violence and destruction.
They pointed out to the need of confronting terrorism and extremism.
