Russian Ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, said that Russia will supply Syria with the required equipment for certain measures in the framework of destroying the chemical weapons.
"That would solve the problem of the lack of material means of the mission charged with destroying the chemical weapons of Syria" Russia Today quoted Churkin as saying on Thursday.
Churkin stressed "Everything is going right, but there are some problems that should be tackled seriously," adding " I do not find a big problem in identifying who is responsible for securing the chemical weapons and moving them to sea for destroying them."
He pointed out that this matter could be solved by UN and Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) attorneys in cooperation with relevant countries.
The Russian Diplomat also called for pressuring on \'the armed groups\' in Syria not to make any acts that would hinder the process.
