Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, stressed that the Russian side sees no alternative to continuing the intra-Syrian dialogue in Geneva.
In a speech at the second session of the international group to support Lebanon in Paris, Lavrov said that providing wide representation is the right of the participants in the intra-Syrian dialogue.
Lavrov stressed that Russia continues offering financial and material assistance to Lebanon to meet the needs of the displaced Syrians, pointing out that Moscow allocated SYP 6,5 billion for this objective.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed in a statement that the terrorist and extremist groups in Syria tried to foil the efforts exerted to accomplish local reconciliations and turn to new agreements in this regard.
The ministry noted that the outlaw terrorist groups are still carrying out operations against the Syrian Arab Army in some areas.
