Caritas Association, Brazil Branch, held Wednesday an event in solidarity with the Syrian children in the face of the armed terrorist takfiri groups’ brutal acts at Catedral Metropolitana de Brasilia in Brazil.
A group of Caritas’ children played music and chanted religious songs at the opening of the event.
Syrian Charge d’ affairs in Brasilia, Ghassan Nasser briefed the participants on the situation of the Syrian children and their suffering due to the terrorism perpetrated by the western-backed armed terrorist groups and sponsored by the US, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Nasser highlighted the crimes committed by the terrorist groups in Syria targeting the Syrian people, nature and infrastructure.
For his part, Apostolic Nuncio of the Syriac Orthodox Church in Brazil, Archbishop Paul Titus said that “Syria is the country of peace and amity.”
Deputy Chairman of Caritas Anadity Johnsfalis Rise expressed support to Syria , calling on the international community and the international constitutions to do their best to realize peace and security in Syria and stop terrorism.
A group of Caritas children appealed to the international community, in the name of the Syrian children, to save Syria’s children.
