Patriarch al-Rahi calls on international community to put an end to wars in Syria, Iraq and Palestine
Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi called on the international community to put an end to wars and terrorist acts in Syria, Iraq and Palestine and to find a political solution for just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the region.

Al- Rahi, meeting French Foreign Minister Jean- Marc Ayrault in Beirut on Tuesday, stressed the need for offering guarantees to the displaced
citizens of the countries in the region to return home due to the terrorist acts in their areas including Christians and Muslims alike who were forced to leave their homes
