Republic Triathlon Championship kicks off in Aleppo
The Republic Triathlon Championship kicked off on Friday at Shahbaa Hotel in Aleppo with the participation of more than 100 male and female athletes.

The event, which is held under the slogan “Aleppo Triumphs,” is organized by the Aleppo branch of the General Sports Federation in cooperation with the Tourism Ministry.

Head of the General Sports Federation’s executive committee Ahmad Mansour said that the participation of so many athletes from Damascus, Lattakia, Tartous, Sweida, Deir Ezzor, and Aleppo shows that Aleppo is recovering.

Mansour said that the first day of the Championship witnessed intense competition among the athletes, some of whom have made great achievements locally and internationally.

The Championship will conclude its activities on Saturday evening.
