In support of Syria’s children who are suffering from terrorism and its consequences, the Polish Legion of Peace Charity Foundation and the school board of Vishkov city kicked off a charity event on Monday to provide aid from Polish children to the Syrian children.

The event started with the national anthems of the two countries. The director of the Vishkov School pointed out to the historical relations between the two countries, stressing that, after research, it becomes clear that what is happening in Syria is totally contradictory to the image that Western media are trying to market.

For his part, Charge d’Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Warsaw, Bassem Jamaan Aga, thanked Polish children for their initiative and their profound feelings aimed at supporting the Syrian children suffering from the unjust terrorist war.
