The Russian President Special Envoy to Mideastern Affaires, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhael Bogdanov has declared that the Syrian opposition refraining from implementing Kofi Anan’s plan to settle the crisis does not mean the failure of this plan. Bogdanov told news media men that condemns such statements on the failure of Anan’s plan and considers them unfruitful at all.
The Russian official said the world community is committed to a common stand concerning the crisis in , and this has been affirmed by the two Security Council’s resolutions that support Anan’s plan, and approved by the group of 8 in

, stressing that this is the basis all members of the world community should work accordingly.
