The Parties Affairs Committee held a meeting under the chairmanship of Minister of Interior, major General Mohammad Ibrahim al-Sha’ar. The committee discussed a number of applications for forming new parties.

Major General al-Sha’ar said that the committee decided to refer the documents of The People’s Party and the Party of National Reform for publishing in two dailies for seven days.
