Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, The Deputy Minister of Culture Tawfiq Al-Imam opened yesterday the exhibition of the artist Ibrahim Dandle entitled “Palmyra….Sun Story” at “Al-Sha’ab” gallery.
The exhibition, which is open until December 30, presents distinguished paintings. The subjects of the art pieces are inspired from the legend and history, showcasing the skillfulness of Dandle .


Dandle used the “graphic” technique (the engraving on sheets of wood and metal). The Palmyra stories are the heart of his works which are decorated by symbols and creatures that he derived from the mythology and imagination.
⦁ Ibrahim Dandal comes from Palmyra.
⦁ He was born in 1973
⦁ He carried out the longest painting in the world in 2009, which is 1meterX250meter, with his friend Ayman Darwish and in cooperation with the Syrian plastic artists union and the Palestinians Plastic artists union.
⦁ He paints for “Al-Marifa” Magazine which is published by the Ministry of Culture.
