Engineers Syndicate conference discusses preparations for reconstruction
Minister of Public Works Hussein Arnous affirmed Sunday the importance of intensifying efforts and capabilities for the post-crisis reconstruction process.

The Minister, who was talking during the opening session of the annual conference of the Engineers Syndicate held in Damascus, said the Ministry is preparing the technical, legal and financial conditions for recycling the demolition debris resulting from the acts of armed terrorist organization against the public and private buildings in the ongoing terrorist war raging in the country.

For his part, Head of the Syndicate Giath Quteini said the Syndicate has an extraordinary and practical role in implementing the government’ construction and engineering plans and projects, particularly in the reconstruction stage.

At the Syndicate’s conference held late last year, Minister of Housing and Construction Development Mohammad Walid Ghazal said all 140 thousand engineers are determined to assume their national role and help reconstruct Syria and bring it back to its former state before the terrorism-inflicted destruction.
