Speaker of the People’s Assembly Mohammad Jihad al-Laham said the valiant Syrian Arab army is wiping the floor with terrorists in various battlefields as it was doing in the past years, adding that all the plans plotted by Syria’s enemies were doomed to failure.

Al-Laham made these statements during a session of the Assembly on Monday where the Premier Wael al-Halaqi and government ministers were attending.

Al-Halaqi, for his part, asserted the complementary roles between the legislative and executive institutions to upgrade the levels of living and services and raise the nation’s immunity in the face of the difficulties.

A monthly award of SYP 10,000 for the army and armed forces fighters will be paid as of the beginning of next month, al-Halaqi said.
