270,000 Basic Education students start final exams in Syrian provinces
About 270 thousand students of the Basic Education stage took on Sunday the first subject of final exams at 2,100 exam centers spread all over the Syrian provinces.

Visiting a number of exam centers in Damascus, Education Minister Hazwan al-Waz said that the Ministry had taken all required measures and preparations to guarantee the success of the examination process.

He added that the Syrian state has facilitated the evacuation of thousands of students from Idleb, Raqqa, Damascus Countryside and the countryside of Aleppo in order to enable them take their final exams, adding that temporary housing centers have been equipped with all the basic needs for them, in addition to supplying those centers with teachers to help the students.

The minister pointed out that the continuation of the educational process is a result of joint governmental efforts and the determination of the Syrian students and their families to continue their educational attainment.

The exams of the Basic Education stage will last till May 25th.
