The General Establishment for Chemical Industries signed a Memo of Understanding with a Bulgarian-Russian-Norwegian multinational corporation to rehabilitate and develop the Tire Manufacturing General Company in Hama.

The MoU was signed following a tour of the Hama Tire Factory by a delegation from the multinational corporation, and it specifies the equipment that will be developed or replaced in order to increase and expand production of various types of high-quality tires to meet the needs of local and regional markets.

Director General of the General Establishment for Chemical Industries Usama Abu Fakhr said a study of the production lines and machinery at the Company will be prepared so that the multinational corporation can analyze and evaluate it, which will be followed by forming a work team to set up a work plan.
