The Ministry of Economy and Trade asked its directorates in the governorates, to tighten control, in order to make sure that the owners of the public transportation vehicles abide by the tariffs which are defined to them by the executive offices in the governorates. The Ministry also called for announcing the tariffs clearly, focusing on taking necessary legal measures against breaches, in the absence of compliance with them.

On the other hand, the third indicative price-list of the goods and food material, which was issued by the Ministry included a new decrease in some basic goods, such as powdered milk, poultry, eggs, oil and margarine. The reduction percentage ranged between five and ten Syrian Pounds.
