Director General of the General Establishment for Cotton, Nazir Lababidi, said that the Establishment continues to sell cotton for both the public and private sectors, according to the annual plan. Mr Lababidi pointed out that contracts were struck to sell 83 thousand tons of cotton to the public sector and 17 thousand tons to the private one.
Mr Lababidi expressed his Institution's readiness to sell the surplus of cotton to the world markets, according to purchase orders.
