The Cabinet approved the Savings Bank’s request to continue giving loans to public and military sector workers with limited income, in order to enhance their living conditions. The bank’s manager, Haifa2 Younes, asserted that loans will be granted again immediately after Eid al-Fitr, and by the same terms put previously, and that there are a lot of repayment options available for borrowers. She further pointed out that the Bank has sufficient liquidity, which is fifty percent, while the Central Bank has set a limit of thirty percent as excess.
