"We are not satisfied with the performance of the government", says a key businessman
Fares Ashehabi, the head of the Aleppo chamber of commerce and one of the businessmen who were on the EU's list of sanctioned people said today that businessmen are not generally content with the overall performance of the Syrian government through the crisis the country is witnessing. Saying that the chambers of commerce are more than willing to cooperate with the government to protect the country. Alshihabi said that sanctions are not new to Syria, we experienced sanctions since 1956 but the main concern now should be on how to fortify the economy. Alshihabi who is known for his stands against Ba'athist policies demanded the government to list to businessmen so they can help each other coup with the current sanctions.
