Within the frame work of the attempts to implement the Clean Energy Project in the power plants the General electric power company is expanding the Teshreen plant and adding new 450 MW generators. The Company pointed out that this project will reduce the greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere thus contribute to efforts that are being made to fight global worming, as this project is expected to reduce the CO2 emissions by about 300 thousand tons per year.
