The Agricultural Bank's management agreed to give its branch in Damascus a third 10 billion Syrian pounds credit, over the previous maximum credits which were extended to it, and in favor of the General Establishment for marketing Cereal.
 The new dedicated amount is for the purpose of financing the purchase and storage of the grain. This advance is to be covered by a bond that will be paid back in less than 120 days. On the other hand, the Directorate of Agricultural Economy started the inventory of the investment projects, which are included in the Law No. 10 for the year 1991 and its amendments as well as in the Decree No. 8 for the year 2007,  in all the governorates. The directorates of economy were asked to review those projects.
As a result of the field tours,  many of these projects were discovered to be holding  gricultural licenses.
