The evacuation process of militants and some members of their families from the Damascene districts of Barzeh towards the northern countryside continued on Monday.

The evacuation process comes in the framework of implementing the settlement agreement which provides for ending the armed manifestations in the neighborhood in a step towards the return of
the state institutions to it.

Damascus Governor Bishr al-Sabban said in a press statement that the 4th phase of the settlement agreement will be carried out today by the evacuation of a new batch of militants and weapons.

The Governor stressed that the implementation of the settlement agreement in Barzeh neighborhood will continue till ending all armed manifestations in it in preparation for the return of the state
institutions to the neighborhood.

SANA reporter said that a number of buses gathered in the area to transport a batch of militants, who refused the settlement, and some members of their families after 10 days on the evacuation of 2672 persons, among them 1076 militants in the implementation of the 3rd phase of the agreement.

The Syrian government spares no efforts to enhance the local reconciliations in different areas in parallel with the army’s continued operations for up-rooting the Takfiri terrorism and restoring security and stability to all Syrian provinces.
