Screening of Fires film at Dar al-Assad for Culture in Latakia kicks off
The screening of the long feature film “Fires” kicked off at Dar al-Assad for Culture’s hall in Lattakia on Saturday evening.

The film, which was composed and directed by Abdel-Aziz, talked about the crisis in Syria from the humanitarian side in light of the terrorist war waged against it through four women who are striving for better life.

In a statement to SANA following the screening of the film, Director Abdel-Aziz said that the film is presented for all women who are striving for better life, adding that the film is talking about Syrian women and their daily struggle either against terrorism or on the social and livelihood levels.

“Fires” film won the special jury award at Cairo International Film Festival and gold award as the best integrated film at the Arab Film Festival held within Cinerama Rotterdam Festivity in Holland.
