The General secretariat of the Arab Parties Conference reiterated support to Syria in face of the universal war which is led by the US and its allies in the region through the armed terrorist groups in Syria.

In the final statement of the emergency session which was held on November 18-19 in Damascus, the Secretariat stressed that Syria represents resistance as it hosts all national and nationalist forces, expressing confidence that Syria will win over its enemies to remain stronger and more immune to continue its pioneering role on all levels.

The statement noted that Syria is going through a "mythological confrontation" as it managed to defy the aggression and achieve military progress thanks to the bravery and steadfastness of President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian army and people.

The General secretariat denounced the decisions of the Arab League against Syria, describing them as "a dangerous precedent that reveals the suspicious role of the Arab countries which control the League."
