Putin, Trump affirm commitment to Syrias sovereignty and territorial integrity
Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump announced that Russia and the US will continue to work together to combat Daesh (ISIS) terrorists till fully eliminating them.

In a joint statement on Saturday on Syria on the sidelines of Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) in Vietnam, the two Presidents affirmed their commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and called for an ultimate political settlement for the crisis in Syria the framework of Geneva process.

Peskov: Presidents Putin, Trump agree on joint statement on Syria

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump during their brief meeting on the sidelines of the APEC summit approved a joint statement on Syria, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on Saturday.

Peskov told Sputnik Agency that the document was prepared by the experts of the two countries and agreed upon by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US State Secretary Rex Tillerson.

He indicated that the statement was specifically prepared for the meeting in Da Nang, where the APEC summit is taking place.

Presidents Putin and Trump are participating in APEC Summit which will conclude its activities today.
