Syria keen to have active participation the Councils of OIC Conference, MP says
Conference of the Union of Councils of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is a chance for Syria to show the reality of the events taking place in the country, the Secretary of the People’s Assembly Rami Saleh said Saturday.

The MP’s statements came on occasion of launching the 13th session of Union of Councils of Member States of OIC Conference in Tehran with the participation of 44 states including Syria.

“The delegation of Syria is keen to have an active and reliable participation in order to make activities of the Conference a success as it also could be a platform for Syria to uncover the nature of terrorism that struck Syria and how it is distorting the core of Islam,” Saleh told journalists.

The five-day Conference is an annual event that tackles matters important to the Islamic states including the Palestinian Issue.
