Russian MoD: Russian experts to study debris of aircraft downed in Syria
The Russian Defense Ministry said Tuesday that Russian experts intend to study the engines of the Russian Su-25 aircraft that was downed in Syria by terrorists to specify the type of MANPADS (man-portable air defense systems) that targeted the aircraft and how it reached the hands of terrorists.

The Ministry said in a statement that its experts were particularly interested in remains of the Russian attack aircraft’s engines with traces of the missile impact in order to precisely identify the MANPADS type used by terrorists, its, production site, and channels of supply to Syria
