Interior Minister: The Palestinian cause will remain a top Syrian priority
Interior Minister Mohammad al-Shaar discussed on Thursday with a delegation from the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee the status of the Palestinian refugees in Syria and the general conditions of the Palestinian camps, especially the Yarmouk Camp in addition to the war on terrorism.

The Minister affirmed that the Palestinian cause was and will remain a priority for the Syrian state and people. He pointed out that what happened in Yarmouk Camp was a systematic part of the war that was launched against Syria.

He added that the Syrian state supports the rights of the Palestinian people, especially their right to return and the establishment of the Palestinian state on their land, and rejects any projects or schemes seeking to liquidate this cause.
