Cabinet allocates funds to cover costs of local administration councils’ elections
The Cabinet approved the allocation of the funds needed to cover the costs of holding elections for members of local administration councils, which are due to be held on September.

During a session on Sunday chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, the Cabinet approved the suggestions put forth by the Central Authority for Financial Supervision for developing transparency in the work of public sector establishments.

The Cabinet also decided to expand the holding of summer camps, and set the priorities for economic development in the next stage, giving emphasis to agriculture followed by industry, commerce, financial policies, and banking.

Two committees were formed to follow up on the implementation of services plans in liberated areas in Daraa and Quneitra provinces.

The Cabinet also approved a plan for developing Al-Bayrouni University Hospital, and approved exempting exports by the public sector from Iran from customs and other fees for six months.
