The documentary Film “Jasmine” directed byal-Muhnnad Kalkhoum, harvested the Golden al-Zaitoneh (Olive) Award as best documentary film within the official competition of the Jerusalem International Film Festival .

“Jasmine” film competed with 27 Arab films from Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Oman and Palestine within the activities of the second edition of International Jerusalem Film Festival which wrapped up activities on Sunday evening in Gaza Center for Culture and Arts under the motto “Liberation For Prisoners”.

The film gives hope to the souls despite the painful circumstances of the war, according to the Jury of the Festival.

“Jasmine” is a type of docudrama (documentary drama) which mixes documents with the story.
