Ministry of Health on Thursday received a shipment of medicines for renal transplant patients from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Minister of Health Saad al-Nayef said during his meeting with head of the UNHCR mission in Damascus Tareq al-Kurdi that the support of international organizations for the Ministry's health service efforts is considered a value added under the current exceptional circumstances.


For his part, al-Kurdi stressed that the UNHCR will double its contributions in support of the health sector in Syria next year, particularly in the field of medicine and medical equipment
