The General Storage and Marketing Establishment in Tartous announced its readiness to market all types of citrus, at the prices they agreed on, with the farmers union.

The Branch Manager Zuher Hasan clarified that all the possibilities are available and the centers are working 24 hours a day, to receive the products with a 1% commission.

Hasan asked the farmers to coordinate and cooperate with the General Establishment to facilitate the marketing process.

He stressed that what has been marketed till now, is a small amount of the production, which is about 200.000 tons, pointing out that the General Establishment is working on a protocol, which has been signed with Iran.
