The Reform, will it be noticed?

The only thing that every Syrian believes in, and they are sure about is the rampant corruption in Syria. Some people attribute the protests movement to that corruption. there are many steps from the government to find a clue to solve this problem.

Recently, the Ministry of Finance had announced that the extent of corruption in Syria is nearly four billion Syrian pounds only. Maybe this isn't the right number, but it's the number that the official bodies responsible for combating corruption could get. In another announcement, the number of decisions of custody issued by the Ministry of Finance was 188 in 2011. Those decisions were based on reports of the Central Board of Control and Inspection, and others from the Minister of Finance.

We heard a lot about the reform that will take place in the Syrian regime, and according to  private sources that informed Syriandays of  some of these reforms are under studying. These sources reported that a coming change would apply to 17 general directors holding some of the institutions, companies and public administrations in Syria. According to them too, the change will come within the new formation of the government, which will be announced at the beginning of the month next February. The sources added that the names of new directors include opposition figures.

The change comes under the reform policy announced by President Bashar Al-Assad and talked about in many of his speeches, particularly the recent speech in which he declared for the first time for change is based on forming a new government extended with figures from different spectrums of the Syrian people and simulates all the segments, note that the change would apply to general directors aim to deliver fresh attitudes to some of the departments, institutions and companies where the directors held their offices for many years.

What we all have to do now is to wait and see, Because though the extent of the changes remain un declared some say that it is promising.
