Damascus: The Fuel crisis comes to an end

Director of the Fuel Branch in Damascus , Mansour Taha, said that the demand on fuel oil crisis has ended, referring to the breakthrough witnessed currently at the gas stations  indicating.

 

 

Mr Taha said that The Branch has contributed in providing fuel gas to the bakeries from the extra amount of the material in the returning cars, in addition to getting fuel oil from the strategic reserve in the stations, which constitutes 20 percent of each gas station.

 

 

Mr Taha pointed out that the amount of fuel gas allocated for Damascus countryside this month, has reached 108 million liters, in addition to 6 million liters that are available in The Branch's. He said that The Branch's sales of the fuel gas last year, reached 1.27 billion liters, increasing 10.5 percent than the sales in 2010.
