Quantities of suger beet recieved by the Salhab Sugar Company in Hama reached 34000 tons, 1775 tons of sugar were extracted out of this total quantity. A source at the company’s management said that the company receives 3800 tons of sugar beet daily, with a total of 444000 tons in Hama this season. The source added that the company has provided all facilities for successfull marketing, taking into consideration analyzing samples and receiving sugar beet crop from the farmers using smooth and flexible measures.
