Minister of Electricity, Imad Khamis discussed with the Chinese Ambassador to Damascus, means of boosting cooperation in the energy domain between Syria and China and ways of completeing the ongoing projects between both countries. Both sides reviewed, during a meeting that took place at the ministry of Electricity today, some cooperation projects and memoranda of understanding which are taking effect currently with some Chinese companies in the domain of generating electricity in addition to boosting cooperation in the domain of investment in conventional power generation and renewable energy, especially the wind power. on his part, the Chinese ambassador said that the Bank of Export and Import is evaluating bids for investment in renewable energy in Syria, asserting China's commitment to carry out the joint projects in the best way.
