Training course for Syrian journalists begins in Tehran
A training course for Syrian journalists, organized by the Iranian Islamic Radios and Televisions Union in cooperation with the Syrian Journalists Union, began Monday in Tehran.

The 12-day course features lectures on laying down an editorial policy, news interviews mechanisms, the cultural and social role of Syrian media outlets, the role of media in forging public opinion, the role of reporters and social media, crises coverage and management and the role of local media in confronting tendentious channels.

Muhammad Mahdi Shariatmadar, Deputy Secretary General of the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union underlined in the inaugural speech the role of media in confronting the conspiracy targeting Syria.

He also called for coordination for tapping into expertise and energies to overcome weaknesses and enhance strengths in media discourse.
