Special Assistant to Speaker of Iran’s Shura Council Hussein Amir Abdullahian stressed that focusing on the political solution in Syria is a decisive factor for ending the crisis in it and eliminating terrorism.

Receiving French Ambassador in Tehran François Senemaud, Abdullahian indicated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been affirming the need for constructive dialogue and political solutions since the beginning of the crisis in Syria.

For his part, Ambassador Senemaud considered that the issue of terrorism has reflected negatively on France over the past few years.
