Nada Society organizes painting exhibition embodying violence against women
Nada Developmental Society concluded its activities on Tuesday within its 16-day campaign to end violence against women through a plastic art exhibition embracing 171 paintings representing all types of violence against women.

The paintings were drawn by a number of professional and amateur people who benefit from the services provided by the society.

Participants in the exhibition embodied the issue of violence against women through various artistic styles and schools that represented a visual message in harmony with specialty of Khan Asaad Bacha in Damascus Old City where the exhibition was held.

One of the participants in the exhibition underlined the key role of art in supporting social issues and embodying them in different methods.

Coordinator of Anti-Gender-Based Violence Program at the Society Ghofran al-Noufi said that the exhibition is held under the title “Don’t Leave Anyone behind You” at the conclusion of the 16-day campaign which started on November 25th and lasted till December 10th.

Al-Noufi indicated that the Society has provided various cultural and awareness-raising activities through its 16-day campaign.

Nada Developmental Society was established in 2005, and it provides educational, vocational and health services for all spectrums of society.
