The anti-government protest movements continue in the Eastern parts of Saudi Arabia to be confronted with bullets.
Wide scope popular protests have erupted in the Eastern Saudi province of Al Qtteif where thousands have taken part in the wake of the arrest, by the Saudi authorities, of Sheikh Nmr al Nmr the Imam of the a’awamieh mosque.
At least 2 persons were killed, and 20 others were injured by live bullets fired by the Saudi authorities in cold blood.
The Saudi Authorities have brazenly admitted that Sheikh Nmr was hit in his leg while being arrested, he was moved to hospital. They claimed that he was inciting people to call for their rights to stage protests and for reforms.
Mohamed al Nmr, brother of Sheikh Nmr, has said that his brother was wanted by the authorities for his reform ideas and for calling for more rights to the people in this part of the country that face discrimination and difficulties in getting employment at state institutions and universities.
