Spokesman for Algerian ministry of foreign affairs Ammar Balani announced that Algeria decided to send humanitarian aids to Syria.

Balani said that Algeria decided to send the first batch of humanitarian aid through Algerian red crescent directly to Syrian red crescent via Beirut airport, pointing out that these aids would be shipped on board cargo aircraft of Algeria, over three flights containing 40ton of food , medicine and blankets.

Balani stressed that these aids were in solidarity with the Syrian people
