Prime Minister Dr. Wael al-Halqi said Arab artists have a great role in enhancing belonging and immunizing the Arab society against Takfiri thought.
Speaking to a delegation of Arab artists led by Chairman of the Union of Arab Artists Masaad Fouda, al-Halqi said artists are tasked with the mission of building bridges and divulging the nature of conspiracies targeting the Arab nation that seek to foment chaos and instability in the Arab world.

Commenting on the Syrian art under the crisis, he said that some Arab regimes have sought to weaken and isolate it because it “bears a true message of Arabism.”
The creative and artistic movement in Syria has boomed thanks to the care accorded to it by the Syrian leadership, he added.
Members of the delegation expressed solidarity with the Syrian people and artists against the terrorist war targeting them, voicing confidence in Syria’s victory over terrorism.
In press statements following the meeting, Fouda stressed the importance of giving care to cultural enlightenment and raising awareness to confront hostile media.
