Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi opened on Sunday the National Center for Dental Specialties and the Syrian Board at the Dentists Syndicate’s headquarters with a total value of around SYP 300 million.
In a statement to the reporters after the inauguration, al-Halaqi said the center aims at providing high-level qualification and training and services in seven specialties.
With its well-qualified staff, the center is considered an added asset to the process of developing the health sector, the Premier added.
For her part, chief of the Dentists Syndicate Fadia Deeb said the center will work on upgrading the level and quality of services provided to the citizens and boosting the professional and scientific competence of dentists to match up to the standards.
Deeb noted that dental radiology and sterilization and disinfection are part of the center’s seven sections, pointing out that services will be provided at prices set by the Health Ministry.
