Foreign and Expatriates Ministry strongly denounced the terrorist bombing which targeted a train station in Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang region in China, on April 30th.
The ministry said in a statement issued Monday that SANA received a copy of that the barbaric attack which hit a friendly country is reminiscent of the terrorism rocking Syria. "It just goes to verify the Syrian state\'s vision that terrorism is a foe to humanity, and that Syria, as it is waging a war against terrorism, deserves support and backing from all countries of the world."
The ministry expressed grave concern over the proliferation of terrorism worldwide, urging the international community to shoulder responsibilities in a serious counter-terrorism drive.
Syria urges the international community to show zero tolerance for the countries and organizations funding and arming terrorists, added the statement.
The ministry expressed deep solidarity with the Chinese government and people and offered heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Three people were killed and 79 wounded in a bomb attack at train station in China\'s western city of Urumqi on Wednesday.
