404 people from various governorates have their files settled
Ministry of Justice announced Monday that hundreds of persons from several governorates who handed themselves over to authorities have had their legal status settled.

A source at the ministry told SANA that 404 persons from Damascus, Damascus countryside, Homs, Hama, Idleb, Deir Ezzour, Aleppo, Sweida, Raqqa, Hasaka and Lattakia had their files settled after pledging not to get involved in any act that might harm the homeland’s security.

Meanwhile, 46 gunmen from al-Dar al-Kabira in the countryside of Homs turned themselves in and handed over their weapons to the authorities, according to a source in the province.

Secretary of Homs branch of al-Baath Party Subhi Harb said reconciliations that are continuing afoot present a chance for all those who have been enticed to get involved in wrongful acts to mend ways, hailing the immense efforts of government in this regard. A number of persons whose files have been settled expressed, in interviews with SANA, willingness to shape up and help in rebuilding their country
