Terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra organization and affiliated groups positioned in a number of areas in Eastern Ghouta on Saturday targeted with a shell the surrounding of al-Fayhaa sports complex in Damascus, causing material damage only, a source at Damascus Police Command said.
According to a source at Damascus Countryside Police Command, terrorist organizations in Eastern Ghouta also fired 14 shells on al-Assad residential suburb in Harasta, causing material damage.
In Idleb countryside, terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and its affiliated groups fired tens of mortar and rocket shells on locals’ houses in the besieged Kefraya and al-Foaa towns, injuring many civilians including children, civil sources said.
The sources added that the random and intensive bombardment caused huge destruction to properties.
In the last few days, more than 70 rocket shells were fired on Kefraya and al-Foaa, about 10 km north Idleb, injuring civilians including women and children.
Kefraya and al-Foaa town are suffering from the siege imposed on them by terrorist organizations for three years where more than 8000 civilians are living under miserable humanitarian conditions.
The terrorist organizations linked to the Turkish regime reject the entry of any humanitarian or medical aid to civilians in the two towns as they prevent the entry of Syrian Arab Red Crescent crew to treat the critical medical cases.
