Within the coming days there will be spread 16,300 observer from the deferent trade unions and other committees to monitor the market and prevent any form of monopoly. This comes at the request of the General Federation of Trade Unions as the directors of the provincial associations will be inform about places where the needs of citizens are being monopolized.
According to the Syrian News Agency SANA :some dealers and food importers  are exploiting the country's situation to blackmail people using their basic needs.
It is noteworthy that the Damascus city hall held meeting last week and the majority of members demanded the most severe penalties against those who are monopolizing goods
