The Authority of Competitiveness and Monopoly-Prevention asserted that it continues to follow up the prices in the market, through a specialized control groups, to monitor the performance to prevent any monopoly.

The Authority pointed out that it monitors the flow of goods and creats a balance between the supply and demand, so as to ensure the stability of the prices.

In a related development, The Ministry of Economy and Trade said that the third indicative price list, which was issued this week, witnessed a remarkable decrease in the prices , as oil prices declined by 3 percent in addition to the decline of the prices of poultry and eggs, pushing for further gradual decrease in the prices in the future.
